Gel Printing techniques with texture and leaves at BAG session today!!

joined us today to provide an inspiring powerpoint intro to her work and a dem -onstration of gel printing techniques.
We were encouraged to have fun and we did!
Gel blocks were provided and Deborah gave a demonstration of the printing method. She showed us how to use textured blocks, leaves and objects to press into the surface and roller print onto different papers or material for mixed media work. She adds layers to her textiles with superb bird drawings and paintings.
Her inspiration comes from the landscape in the remote coastal locations around Scotland and Northumberland.
Her sketches and paintings are also superb.
We much appreciate her efforts to travel so far to meet us and bring us insights into her working techniques..
